I understand that is two notes on the same beat have the same left fingering, they should be tied with a bracket in the notation. so I wonder if there is a way to tie those notes with a right square bracket and have it appear on the staff ? and sometimes I find it necessary to fret two or three notes of a chord with one same finger ( let's say finger 3 for the upper notes of a minor 6th for instance ). Some tunes I play require picking two bass notes at the same time with the thumb ( right hand ). We would need a way to adjust the bracket size to accommodate any number of strings. It's been a while since I've worked much with TE so it is possible this feature already exists. You can adjust the size of the bracket by changing the font but bracketing more than two notes is questionable. ![]() You can insert the bracket as Text and adjust its horizontal & vertical position accordingly. ![]()
